The Name
Wolimo (`Wah-lih-moe)(n, v, adj, adv, poo): A contagious feeling that moves from person
to person faster than the speed of sound, and that effects all people, places, and all things, in every dimension, in reality
or fantasy, in every time and place.
The Music
The music of Wolimo is of no genre, yet it is of every
genre at the same time. The members bring rock, funk, jazz, blues, bluegrass, folk, soul, and fusion to the listener in intense
jams and infectious grooves. Every performance delivers improvisations that can be beautiful, frantic, melodic, intense, and
orgasmic and releases an expansive energy that flows from the band, to the crowd, and back to the band in a universal, tribal
groove.
